MaeWest Software was founded by Mike Moloney, who spent 15 years running Intank Services Pte Ltd in Singapore — one of Asia's most active refining and blending hubs — providing loss-control, cargo analytics, and blend-related consultancy to terminal operators, marine surveyors, and independent inspection consultants.
MaeWest turns that hands-on experience into structured, off-the-shelf desktop software so operators, surveyors, and consultants can move away from bespoke spreadsheets without commissioning a custom software project.

Operational background
Intank Services Pte Ltd was founded and run by Mike Moloney in Singapore, working directly with terminal operators, marine surveyors, cargo expeditors, and shore-side traders on loss-control, product-control statistics, cargo analytics, and blend-related operations. That work covered VLSFO / HSFO / ULSFO / MGO handling, Product Control against terminal-side and tanker-side deficiencies, VEF review, STS operations, and QHSE record control across dozens of clients in the region.
MaeWest is the successor product family: a redesign of consultancy-era database tooling into a first-class, licensed software product.
MaeWest Cargo Operations answers day-to-day operational questions: voyage performance, Product Control, QHSE evidence, and audit history. MaeWest Blending (in development) will answer blend-planning and vessel-execution questions for FSO and Trader teams. The two are deliberately separate products for separate roles.
MaeWest is for consultants, terminal superintendents, surveyors, and inspection teams who need clear records, repeatable reporting, and auditable history — without a bespoke software project or a cloud dependency.
Customer data lives on customer-owned Windows machines and the customer's own SQL Server (for Connected tiers). MaeWest does not host a cloud database and does not require a live network connection between Field users and the Office server.
Every accepted record is chained through a SHA-256 audit trail. Field submissions are content-hashed as signed bundles and verified on import. Reports carry a chain-verification banner so auditors can trust what they see.

MaeWest Software is a UK-based independent software publisher. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited as our Merchant of Record, who also handles VAT and sales tax in each buyer's jurisdiction.
